Investigate the items traded by the Vikings and take part in a ‘Viking Dragon’s Den’ scenario.

  • To investigate the importance of trade in the past and now.
  • To plan and give an effective presentation.

Children can:

  • Understand Viking trade as an important part of the way of life.
  • Appreciate that this produce can and is used today and the principle of trading is still relevant today.
  • Think of ways to improve the original invention for modern day.
