Have you ever wondered what your blood gets up to inside your body? Here is your chance to join your platelets on their journey around your body. Share your discoveries in the form of a dramatic re-enactment.

Science Objectives
i) Identify and name the main parts of the human circulatory system, and describe the functions of the heart, blood vessels and blood.

ii) Describe the ways in which nutrients and water are transported within animals, including humans.

  • Explore and demonstrate how the circulatory system works including the role of the heart.
  • Use video and online editing tools to create a video installation and a TV advert.

Activities

  1. Explore how the circulatory system works and be able to identify the role blood has within this.
  2. Accurately dramatise the processes of the circulatory system.
  3. Record and edit their dramatisation.
