KS3 Numeracy Year 7
Sustaining Numeracy

Use these short starter activities once a week to keep your Y7 students numerically fluent through Key Stage 3. This unit of three sets of starters will keep you going throughout the whole year.

Once a week, use these 10-minute starters. They comprise a wide range of revision questions and include a ‘Think about it’ to enable reasoning and some investigation if time. Students mark their own work. Sustaining students numerical fluency is vital if they are to perform at their best in tests and assessments from Year 7 to Year 11 and beyond.

There are eleven starters - one per week - for each term. Or you can spread the total of 33 throughout the year to suit your own teaching
