Hamilton Education sells hard copy teaching resources that support Hamilton plans at very low cost. Group Readers, phonics books, number lines and 'Five Minute Fillers' can help you teach literacy and numeracy skills in your classroom.
The Hamilton Assessment Tracker enables you to track and analyse pupil progress towards mastery of the expected end-of-year age-related maths skills. It is a practical tool for demonstrating progress, but will also help you target your planning to meet the specific needs of your class as they gradually gain mastery of the requisite skills.
Outcomes Sheets, where you can make quick day-to-day judgements, are available for you to print and attach to children's maths books. The maths Outcomes Sheets, unlike the yearly English Outcomes Sheets, are divided by term and follow the order of Hamilton's maths plns, reflecting the more strictly cumulative nature of maths mastery.
The Tracker is designed to meet the needs of schools looking for a straightforward system for tracking pupil progress, and is available to all School Subscribers. Please download and read the User Guide, which includes instructions, tips and pedagogical advice for making the most of the Tracker. The Pupil List Template will ensure you import all of the relevant data about your pupils.
July 2016 – new version of the Tracker - The updated version of the Tracker has new features including the ability to rename assessment points, add notes to skills and pupils, and an option to import a single pupil with data from another HAT workbook. In order to upgrade, please download the latest version of the Tracker below and then import pupils and assessments from your existing Tracker (you can find instructions on importing pupils in the User Guide).
Unfortunately, for technical reasons, we are not currently able to make the Tracker available in a Mac-compatable format.
Use this Tracker for Year 2. You may also need to use earlier year’s Trackers for pupils who are working on pre-requisite skills. Remember to download the User Guide and the Pupil List Template.
The Pupil Outcomes Sheets are termly lists to stick in the back of each child’s exercise book or maths folder. Each sheet has the outcomes taught that term, in the order in which they occur in Hamilton plans.
If you need HAT for all year groups, download this zip file. Please ensure you unzip the contents before trying to use the workbooks.
