Objectives

Early Learning Goals

Make music and dance and experiment with ways of changing them. Safely use and explore a variety of materials, tools and techniques, experimenting with colour, design, texture, form and function.
Learn about media and materials in original ways, thinking about uses and purposes. Represent own ideas, thoughts and feelings through art, music, dance, role-play and stories.
Show good control and co-ordination in large and small movements. Move confidently in a range of ways, safely negotiating space. Handle equipment and tools effectively, including pencils for writing.

Large black cloth to cover table
Drums
Orange, red and yellow ribbons on sticks
Large paper for floor
Felt tip pens
Masking tape (to stick down corners)
Black paper
Moon sand or normal sand
Plasticine or playdough
Goggle eyes, Mini coloured matchstick/pom poms
