Lesson Planning

Read the story Saturday Night at the Dinosaur Stomp; become the dinosaurs from the story, experiment with movement around objects in the prehistoric swamp. 

Children will:

  • Listen to a story and respond with dinosaur movements.
  • Describe dinosaur movements they created.
  • Build upon dinosaur knowledge through play experiences and art.

You Will Need

  • Old fabrics
  • Hoops and cones
  • Long sheets of bubble wrap
  • Sponge or objects for printing
  • Glitter, beads and foil
