Lesson Planning

Surprise! Children will read about Alfie´s birthday surprise, and then prepare for a secret surprise for someone special in school.

Children will:

  • Identify personal talents and different roles and responsibilities.
  • Be part of the party planning process and identify the contribution made by different peoples at special times.
  • Make a` You are Special´ book.
  • Recognise the importance of celebrations and taking time to celebrate together.
  • Visit 'Pobble' website.
