SMSC

  • Enable students to develop their self-knowledge, self-esteem & self-confidence.
  • Develop tolerance & harmony between different cultural traditions by enabling students to acquire an appreciation of and respect for their own & other cultures.
  • Not be the cause of prejudicial or discriminatory behaviour.

History

  • Understand historical concepts such as continuity and change.
  • Learn about changes in living memory.

Geography

  • Use world maps, atlases + globes to identify UK and its countries, as well as global countries and oceans.

To celebrate each person’s uniqueness.
