Geography

  • Use stories as a stimulus to create a movement storyboard for planning a sequence in dance.

Lesson Planning

Inspired by the story of Odysseus, create a storyboard of movements ready for a dance performance.

 To use knowledge of the oceans in music making.
To analyse mythological stories.
To plan a sequence in dance using stories and music as a stimulus.

Children will:

  • Use sea mythology as a stimulus for dance.
  • Plan and evaluate movement ideas using the story of Odysseus.
