Play the game ‘Would I Lie to you’ using descriptions of real Shang rulers and some you have invented; score points for outwitting your friends and points for detecting the fakes.

Teaching Outcomes:

• To create a fictional Shang king based on their knowledge of Shang kings.
• To play ‘Would I Lie to You?’ game utilizing their knowledge of the Shang kings.

Children will:

• Select and present their research.
• Be able to distinguish between fact and fiction based on their research.
• Present their research to the class.
