• To create a dinosaur timeline in their sketchbooks.
• To try out different ways of recording fossils in their sketchbooks.

Children will:

• Summarise some of the early history of palaeontology and geology.
• Research the dates dinosaurs lived and place them correctly on a timeline.
• Use different techniques in their sketchbooks.
