Teaching Outcomes:

• To create a 3D map of a given German geographical football region that includes rivers and forests.
• To play a ‘rivers, forests and mountains’ game using jumping, throwing and catching to identify and understand the ways these physical features are used.
• To present their 3D map to the class identifying and describing key physical and human features.

Children will:

• Play a ‘rivers, forests and mountains’ game to identify and understand the ways these physical features are used.
• Create a 3D map of a given German geographical football region that includes a major river, forest and/or mountain range.
• Present their 3D map to the class identifying and describing key physical and human features.
