Teaching Outcomes:

• Learn about Vivienne Westwood and consider how her art has changed and influenced fashion choices during the late 20th century.
• Role-play a catwalk pose, considering how best to showcase particular items of clothing.

Children will:

• Understand that clothing designs seen on catwalks influence the clothes available on the high street.
• Know that Vivienne Westwood is a famous British designer whose designs have influenced fashion for much of the late 20th century.
• Use role-play to model different items of clothing.
• Begin to know that outfits can be ‘up-cycled’ to create new and unique pieces.
