Lesson Planning
Children find a mystery present and think about what the occasion could be. They consider why birthdays are celebrated; look through a keyhole into another child´s life to see how they celebrate.
Children will:
- Develop tolerance, understanding and respect for others; know people celebrate birthdays in different ways.
- Use play experiences to show their knowledge of birthdays.
- Increase self-knowledge of their own family and their birthday traditions.
