Teaching Outcomes
To recognise the UK on a range of maps, naming and locating the seas that surround the UK as well as the country’s 4 constituent nations.
To listen to a well known song and sing it with the rest of the class.

Children will:

• Recognise the UK on a range of different maps and globes.
• Name and locate the major seas surrounding the UK.
• Name and locate the country’s 4 constituent nations.
• Listen to a version of When I Was One and sing this with the rest of the class.
