Lesson Planning
Children will find out what to do when they are hurt or suddenly ill. They will learn simple things everyone can do to help. Children will use the Red Cross Website to watch video clips and carry out activities. Children will re-enact simple scenarios and decide the best emergency action to take.
Teaching Outcomes
To work in a small group to dramatise an emergency situation and its resolution; Comment constructively on drama they have watched or taken part in.
To observe and then practise simple first aid skills.
