Since 11th July 2005, Hamilton Trust has been delighted to welcome all those who have donated £12 p.a. as Friends of Hamilton. We are really grateful that teachers are helping us keep Hamilton on the road, so that we are able to produce materials for teachers. We are happy to provide you, as a Friend of Hamilton, with innovative, time-saving and high quality resources over and above the free plans and materials available to all site users.

Friends of Hamilton get:

  • Mix’n’Match plans – access to the full choice of new framework Literacy Units and old weekly plans (based on the NLS) provided by Hamilton for the selected age-ranges
  • Plan Banks – the facility to create and sustain personal Plan Banks to make downloading and managing the plans easy
  • Spelling Bank – unlimited access to a database which enables teachers to create their own tailor-made phonics-based spelling lists suitable for their class
  • Homeworks – homework sheets for Maths & English for each year group
  • Code-Breakers – the synthetic phonics scheme produced by Hamilton which incorporates daily sessions where children learn phoneme to grapheme correspondences in the context of role-play and purposeful writing
  • Early Years Resources – a selection of the activities and resources in the Early Years Topic-based Packs (available to purchase from Hamilton Education) are downloadable free from the Early Years section of the site
  • Search facility

Meanwhile, we are committed to providing a basic raft of free materials available to all site users. These include:

  • All the Maths Teaching Sequences (and old Maths Weekly Plans based on the NNS) for the year free of charge – downloadable individually from the site;
  • At least two New Framework English Units for each term;
  • Free Science Strands;
  • Access to Hamilton Education, and the shop;
  • Two FREE Topics for each age range and access to information about the new Topics.
