- ‘Tessellating using regular shapes’ (see resources) preferably copied onto card so that children can draw around the shape (if not, children will require lots of copies of the shapes to stick and colour)

- Card square, scissors, tape and glue
- Coloured pencils

- Rulers and cm² paper
