Revision of choosing a strategy to add amounts of money. Timed: 5mins. [PowerPoint Slide 2]

Day 2
Practise subtracting 3-digit numbers from multiples of 100 by counting up. [Slide 2] Timed: 5mins
Do students need a reminder before you start or struggle once they’ve begun? Revisit the counting up strategy (‘Frog’) from last time [See today’s Slide 13].
Don’t forget to ask students to complete their Skill Drill Record Sheet.
Day 3
Rehearse counting up in context of money to find next £10, £20, £50 or £100.
Timed: 5mins [Slide 2].
