- Our New Framework Literacy Unit Mixed Age Range plans are gradually being added to the site. All the single year Unit plans and Year A Unit plans for mixed age ranges for YR/1, Y1/2, Y3/4 and Y5/6 are now available for Autumn, Spring and Summer Terms. The Unit plans for year B of the two-year rolling programme for mixed age range classes are being added gradually. An overview for each year group is available in the corresponding Autumn 1st Search results, which we recommend you download too.
- SEARCH for whatever adaptable plans or resources you need – an author study of Michael Rosen, a list of synonyms for 'said' or a 2-week focus on powerful verbs or Recounts.
- Creative Teaching – often using a cross-curricular approach. Again use SEARCH for particular content – e.g. a series of sessions on baby animals or a writing frame for a character profile or a Fact sheet on spiders!
